we, the Master’s students in Design for Digital Futures, warmly invite you to join us for proto,
a three-day gathering unfolding from July 2 to 4 at The Space Between.

proto brings together an exhibition, talks, and roundtable conversations that explore the evolving entanglements between design, technology, and humanity. It is a space for slow questions, shifting meanings, and speculative paths — where works and discussions meet not to resolve, but to reflect.

Technology has always been more than an artifact. It is mirror, extension, language — and sometimes, a paradox.

With proto, we’re holding space for what is still forming.

A prototype of thought. A gesture toward futures that are unfinished, unknowable, and yet: unfolding.

This is an open invitation to students, faculty, alumni, and friends — to wander through ideas, conversations, and moments of shared inquiry.

Come by to experience the work, stay for the questions, and join us in thinking (and feeling) through the uncertain spaces we design within.
