My interest in collective work and different art forms has led me to the luck of being part of SB – Space Between & IIH – It isn’t happening. In the past I was involved in planning and organising club nights and concerts. I’ve found my role in booking and evening management and moved now to organise and curate mainly experimental deep listening events but also interdisciplinary happenings, and try to experiment with space design and new forms of listening and gathering.

SB has also become a playground to experiment and express my own musical concepts and output — work together with different people and perform when the time is right. Discovering the possibilities of sound in/and space.

Collected contemporary lyric and texts in all forms from phone notes and people around us. Some people contributed short stories or little poems or band lyrics – some with their name or also anonymously.

In the end, 15 people were involved, and Samuel and I decided to put the texts between graphical frames on transparent paper. As often, we worked together with Henrik Stelter and Emilia Kreibich on the graphical process. We exchanged many ideas and worked together on the overall result.

The SB will be a meeting place for all those interested in sound – musicians, DJs, sound artists, music lovers, amateurs and professionals. Everyone is welcome to send sounds out of the speakers and/or enjoy listening to them.

No matter if you want to show music or not; every person, every taste, every genre, every age.
