not about coffee
The second semester is coming to an end, and so is the website I worked on the last few weeks for my interaction design class. I've been watching a lot of animated magical shows while programming, those have definitely influenced the design of the website. I especially enjoyed Amphibia, can't wait for the second season to come out. If you're looking for a new show i can only recommend it.
spice up your coffee
Everyone makes coffee in their favorite and individual way. But here, let me give you some tips to spice up your experience.
- When you fill the filter off your coffee brewer don't press the powder, let it form a little mountain.
- If you like your coffee a little sweater, try adding sugar already to the coffee powder before brewing.
- To keep the aroma last longer and the coffee powder stay fresher, keep your coffee in the fridge.
Coffee culture
A few weeks ago I was walking with a friend through the streets of Verona, when we decided to get some coffee to go. As I've been living in Germany for some years now, I got used to being able to grab a coffee on the run anywhere I wanted. Except the trend of takeaway coffee has not reached the Italians, and it's not only coffee, while almost anywhere in Europe its normal to see people walking around with drinks in their hands, in Italy you would definitely attract some attention. Stopping at a bar and grabbing coffee right at the counter is part of the Italian tradition. Coffee there is all about taking a break from the daily stress and relaxing.
