We are hosting an exhibit at our faculty on the 27th of January called Design Topics.
If you're
reading this, chances are you are already there.
If that's the case, feel free to check out
the handcrafted Samba-Outfit
I made for Typography
there as well.
But if you aren't, what are you
waiting for?
Go, go, go!
Piqued your interest with that title, didn't I?
Hover over this text to reveal an exclusive look at my graphic design semester project.
So if you're anything like me, you are super annoyed at the monopoly Adobe holds that
allows them to
charge a lot of money for their subscribtions.
You get many products
with the Creative Cloud, don't get me wrong,
but even the student version costs 30€
a month after the first year which is just not affordable at all.
That's why I made it my mission
to find the best deal possible for the Creative Cloud and I'm gonna share it with you,
you're welcome haha.
My plan was to buy the Creative Cloud on Amazon on Black Friday,
because you save a lot! Trust me I did the maths. (Maybe don't, I was never good at maths).
But I ended up paying only around 134€ for a whole year, that's only roughly 11€ a month!
The problem though: If you want to cancel it months in advance, you'd have to pay full price
for those months anyway, which defeats the purpose.
The 18th of January 2022 was the
deadline for ending my yearly subscription.
I thought that meant I could only cancel
it at the beginning of January so when January 2nd rolled around, I remembered to try
canceling my subscription.
And what do you know?
They pulled a 180 and gave me a
60 days free subscription so that I won't cancel.
I could've cried honestly.
Some of you may know I have fallen into
the rabbit hole that is League of Legends.
So I had to watch the series Arcane – Stream it now only
on Netflix!
It's based on the lore of League, following
the two main characters Vi and Jinx, as well as other champions from the game.
– I've probably lost you already, haven't I?
League may be a shit game (everybody knows, some
of us just choose to ignore it),
but just as much as you'd hate the game you will love the show,
I promise!
And you don't even have to know anything about the game.
It's probably even more
exciting if you don't.
The art style is absolutely spectacular (I even had to rewatch some
scenes because I was so distracted by all the details),
every character is so nuanced and
complicated, the story is so deeply touching and don't even get me started on the music,
it's nothing less than amazing!
There haven't been many shows where I've neeever skipped
the intro, but this one is just that good.
If you don't wanna watch the show, at least do me
the favor and listen to the Arcane Playlist on
Spotify, Enemy being the theme song.
