Sri Lanka

I just had semester break and spent the last three weeks backpacking in Sri Lanka. First I was in the south of the country and spent a lot of time in and around the sea. Then I travelled to the north. I really liked it there because of all the mountains, tea plantations, beautiful waterfalls, elephants and old temples.

Istanbul

I explored Istanbul with a friend for one week and we really love the city. There are lots of winding streets, markets, traditional Turkish food, lots of cats, museums, you can take ferry rides over the marmory see and you can find there open bakeries with homemade cookies even at 4 a.m.
