Stories of a Leon

Sharable moments,
mostly family-friendly,
well mostly..

At the bakery

While trying to buy some sweets from the bakery around the corner, i came for a cake and got presented a girl. Her fellow baker thought I was her boyfriend using endeering nick names.. i have to clarify that i have never seen this woman in my life and that i am here for actual cake. We all burst out laughing, blush.

Then we all kissed.

Catching trains

After school i have always tried to catch the first possible train home. And let me tell you, i have always feelt like Justin Timberlake in „Time“, every day. On my way I have to traverse this giant crossroad to get to the train. 13pm, Citycentre, about 250 People there and the train has arrived at the platform, way too early. So, i go full sprint. Lights red, I go anyways.

See me, rushing with my giant backpack, stumbling onto the middle of the road, having so much momentum to do not one but two full rolls on the ground while everybody admires my life struggles. I get up quick, still adrenaline driven. Jump on the train and two sorrowed grannys imediately ask me if i am allright. I calm down, i calm them down.

Then we all kissed.

Going home from Italy

Last summer, whilst travelling back from Verona with my little sister we had a little situation at the train station.

While waiting for our train in front of the station we suddelny hear screams and fighting noises. We turn around to see a group of teenagers hitting each other with fists, bottles and even a bicycle. She immeadiatley starts running towards them shouting “What the f*ck, stop it everybody“. Being the responsible big brother that i am, i stop her. I dont want her getting into any trouble.

We try to mobilze some people to interrupt the fight which gets more distant by time. Nobody wants to get involved and they just state that it is the same scenaroio every evening. We call the police, they tell us they would connect us to the responsible authority, which then proceeds to tell us the same, so does the agency after. Apparently nobody wants to get involved. Kind of shaken we make our way off to the platform - off to a good start, huh?

That day nobody kissed.
