Our second semester grapic design project was 'Screenplays', in which we explored movies and their scripts or screenplays through collages and riso printing. Reimagining each movie from a new perspective. See more here.
In our first semester in graphic design, we made posters
inspired by so-called Design Manifestos.
These are about
Rule 18 from Bruce Mau's IMFG (Incomplete Manifesto for Growth).
These designs share a common origin: I sketched a wobbly bike at an event, which stuck with me. This led to eventually making it into posters promoting safe transportation choices when intoxicated. Stay safe! :⟩
I asked AI to generate a fake event that I could design posters for. Sunburst Music Festival would feature live performances on multiple stages and pretty expensive tickets. Thankfully, this event is fake and no one has to pay hefty prices for tickets.
Did you know? During his stay in GDR, the french president François Mitterand visited the St. Nicholas Church, Leipzig. Also he was greeted by some sort of giant marmot.
