Photorealism in 3D is something that wasn't my priority as I started. I want to make surreal and atmospheric art, but as I progressed with 3D-Modelling I found that you somehow naturally learn how to make your art look more detailed and realistic. It comes along with improvements in texturing, composition and sculpting / modelling.

Slowly building the habit of making music again. It can be hard to get back into things that you haven't done for a while but slowly building habits does wonders. If you consistently work on something everyday, it becomes routine and feels less like a chore. I will be making the music for one of our semesters Stop-Motion Animation with a friend of mine. This will be something entirely new for me, as I have never tried to compose Cinematic Music, but I think it will feel natural, as I've experimented with Classical Music before.

Character design is hard. It is my first time trying out rigging, texturing and modelling of a human shape. The texturing was especially difficult to get into, even though I just made a simple, low poly figure in the style of old video games and consoles. However, it was equally fun, as it was challenging. Perhaps it is already a good preparation for Game Design and will come in handy when we will programm our own games in the fourth semester.
