I'm Anastasiya, also known as Tess. My journey began in the city of Kazan, Russia, where I was born and cultivated my roots.
Where is Kazan located?
Leaving my homeland to rebuild my life from scratch first in Dubai and then in Germany required courage, resilience, and a commitment to self-improvement.
At the end of 2016 I found myself in Dubai, where I explored the Middle East’s vibrant cultures while working professionally next 3 years. It was there that my design journey began—creating marketing materials, product photography, and developing strategies for the company I worked with – Akzetz Middle East.
Since 2020 I am living in Germany, Nürnberg and working as self-employed graphic and web-designer.
Fueled by a passion for graphic design, web design, and CGI, I find joy in crafting meaningful narratives through typography and graphic elements, particularly in the realms of branding and logos. My creations aim to encapsulate metaphors addressing the pressing issues of our society, weaving a deeper connection between design and the world we inhabit.
I am holding in my hands the culmination of the 'Type Specimens' project, a workshop led by Professor Markus Lange. Each participant, myself included, delved into researching a specific font, resulting in a collection of 24 distinct posters and a beautifully crafted brochure.
