Completing theStudienkollegwas just the first step on my quest to study Design at the university. However, a significant hurdle awaited me: the entrance exam. With limited spots available for numerous applicants, securing admission seemed like an uphill battle.
During the challenging period of the pandemic, I prepared my portfolio and applied to around 10 universities. Sadly, despite my efforts, I didn't succeed the first time around. Disappointment weighed heavily on me, but I refused to give up.
Determined to continue my studies while awaiting a place in Design, I decided to pursue "iberoromanistik and Frankoromanistik," a language program. Two semesters of language study deepened my knowledge and broadened my horizons.
With renewed determination, made a second attempt to secure a place at the university for Design studies. The path was still not easy, but this time, I emerged victorious. I reached my goal, and I am immensely grateful for the opportunity.
My journey taught me the value of resilience and the importance of embracing alternative paths. Sometimes, detours lead to unexpected growth and new opportunities. As I embark on my Design studies, I carry with me the lessons learned during this challenging yet rewarding journey.
Through perseverance and a steadfast belief in my abilities, I overcame obstacles and reached my dream. I am grateful for the experiences that shaped me and excited to embark on this new chapter of my academic and creative pursuits.
