Your Application

We want to make sure your areas of interest and skills match our vision for the master's program. Thus we're looking not only for artistic and technological aptitude but also for engaged, critical thinkers and problem solvers. Our application process screens for these qualities.

① Check Your Prerequisites

Make sure you have the required prerequisites to apply.

→  A design bachelor’s degree (minimum 180 ECTS) or an equivalent degree
is a must.

→  A portfolio demonstrating your design abilities is also required, a      motivational letter, CV and proof of English language proficiency (B2 level).

② Upload your Portfolio

Compile a collection of projects you worked on that best express your attitude, interests and skills. We want to see what you are passionate about.

Upload period: 02.05.—31.05.2025

③ Take The Test

Once your portfolio has been evaluated and you provided the required prerequisites, you’ll receive an invitation for an aptitude test.

④ Come Join Us

Once you’re accepted into the program, you might want to move to Nuremberg. Our international office offers assistance for students coming from abroad, to make your relocation to Nuremberg as smooth as possible.
