About myself (and this website)

Hi, my name is Dennis Boy. I’m a design student from Germany born in 1995.

I enjoy all sorts of creative stuff. In many ways I am a fan of the punk spirit, but most of all in the sense of trying things out. If you have an idea – but you don't have the skills – just give it a shot. I mean, why shouldn’t you? The late, great Agnès Varda once said that three words are important to her in life: Inspiration. Creation. Sharing.
I try to think about this once in a while, especially when I am uncertain about putting my stuff out there. But the thing is, you never know what lousy scribble of yours could inspire some other person in a good way. Also, it’s no fun keeping your work locked up in a drawer.

So, I am using this website as a repository for all the projects I once made and still like and the ones to come. It was written by me with HTML and CSS only. There are three pages, which you can navigate by clicking on the eyes. If you are somewhere down the page and want to get back to the top, just pick the nose.
Since German is my first language, you will find most of the descriptions and entries written that way. But I also thought it would be nice to have a general overview in English. You know … for those thousands of international people just dying to understand whats going on here.

I do want to mention that this website is still under construction. I am trying to figure out which browser reacts to the code in what certain way. If you want to drop me a line regarding some visual bugs you have found or just want to tell me something in general, you can do that via Instagram.
