MY WORK

Hi, I’m glad you’re here.
This is a selection of my work, mostly consisting of illustrations I create in my free time. I’m especially inspired by surrealist paintings and enjoy incorporating my personal interests—or, more accurately, my current hyperfixations—into my work. One example is this Neon Evangelion Genesis animation I created for my first-semester typography class.

ILLUSTRATION

Enjoy a mix of personal projects and uni projects

one of many illustrations i did out of personal interest.. . ..

Done on Procreate, 2024
I’m easily inspired by the media I consume, especially series and movies (you can read more about that on my blog). This illustration is a result of that. After finishing the anime Frieren, I immediately felt a rush of inspiration and wanted to draw one of its scenes.

A Touch of Red

Done on Procreate, 2024
This is one of my personal projects, which was later showcased in an exhibition at TH Nuremberg. When I start a drawing, I usually focus heavily on the face and getting it right, which naturally makes it the main focal point of my illustrations. With this project, I wanted to try something different. My idea was to shift the viewer’s gaze away from the face by placing bright red hands over it.

Album Cover

Done on Procreate, 2025
This illustration was created for a university project where the task was to design an LP cover, including the front, back, and inner artwork. This piece is for the inner side of the cover. I chose the song Hardly Ever Smile by POiSON GiRLFRiEND for this project. Its soft, beautiful instrumental creates a feeling of yearning, but also acceptance. There’s a bittersweet mood to the song that I tried to capture in this illustration.
