In November, I hosted a Drink and Draw event. A DJ booth was set up in the atelier "Neon Dojo", music filled the space, and everyone was printing and drawing together. Neighbors stopped by as well, adding to the lively, creative atmosphere. The event was a great success.
Since the 1980s, the artist has explored the computer as a creative medium, embracing new technologies all the way to Artificial Intelligence (AI). His work exists in a continuous dialogue with art and cultural history. Although rooted in the digital realm, the sensory experience within physical space remains an essential part of Miguel Chevalier’s practice. The exhibition at Kunsthalle München was incredibly engaging. Through the guided tour, I gained many new insights, and I can truly recommend it to everyone.
In an elaborate installation inspired by the atmosphere of a hotel, the exhibition GRAND HOTEL PARR invites visitors to explore more than 200 of the artist’s photobooks. The journey through the hotel’s various rooms - such as the Billiard Room, the Dining Room, and the Fashion Boutique - brings to life a wide range of themes drawn from Parr’s photographic work. All my friends and fellow students came together to see the exhibition it was a place to linger, connect, and spark creative conversations.
The German Gymnastics Festival in Leipzig was undoubtedly a major highlight for many. The impressive diversity of sports, programs, and activities left everyone inspired. Especially memorable were the men’s European Championship apparatus finals and the spectacular stadium gala.
In May, everyone came together once again to get creative. A generous buffet, great music, and countless opportunities for artistic expression set the tone. The next Le Treff will be a Drink and Draw event.
