Trainee

This Week, we started a "Trainee programm" which was organzied by Tani, the founder and leader of MyMelody, where we will learn a bit about Dance and K-pop history and learn different choreos to challenge ourselves. As Group project we started "Lunatic" by andTEAM, to practice hip-hop and being more loose while dancing. We had two unit projects, Love Me Land and Confident. I was part of the Love me Land Unit because the cover had sharp hand and arm moves. My Solo Choreo was City Girls, choreographed by Lisa. The Moves were kind of challenging but I pushed through.

Shimjang Contest

Since I joined the Cover Group "MyMelodyCrew" I was part of 3 Cover Contest and I want to talk specifically about the Shimjang contest. We only had about 6 days where we could train together, that we used to focus on synchonisation, facials and energy. We got matching outfits and pullovers, which we also trained with to make sure we know how to use them in the dance as props.

The Contest was in Witten, there we had to arrive around 9 in the morning for rehearsals. We had also planned a Stunt at the beginning of the Song but we had to scrap it due to the stage being too small.

The Song we chose was "Run BTS" by BTS, because it had energy and we were able to interact with each other, which makes a Persormance way more enjoyable. On Stage I was pretty nervous but got over it quickly and gave it my all. Unfortunately, one of my members fell during the performance, but lucky the judges didn't count the fall, since something like this can happen to anyone and we continued like nothing happened. In the end, we placed 3rd and I was so so proud and happy to have experienced this with my lovely members!

ALL (H)OURS

A big thing in the K-pop community is, to make Banners for Artists you see live. That's what I did for ALL (H)OURS. They Performed in June in Cologne and I made it my mission to make Banners! It was the first time organizing it all by myself. I once helped design Banners for another Group, but this time I did everything by myself.

On the Front, it said the Artists Name, the city and date. On the Back I put a little saying, in Korean as well so that the Artist could effortlessly read it. I printed them about two weeks before the concert so they would arrive on them. On the day of the Concert, I handed them out to fans, and gave some to the staff, so they could give them to the Artists. I was so proud seeing ALL (H)OURS with the Banners that I've designed at the end of the Concert. ~You can find the Banner on my Instagram! ;) ~
