Trompe-l’œil

This 3D ceiling artwork transforms a large space into a striking illusion of nature, offering a window to a serene and dreamlike world. Designed for a 32 x 15-meter ceiling with a height of 17 meters, the piece creates a moment of stillness and wonder. At first glance, the warm, low sunlight and soft pastel tones evoke feelings of peace and freedom. However, the longer one observes, the more a subtle unease sets in.

The artwork draws inspiration from the rich tradition of Trompe-l’œil illusions, blending timeless artistry with a modern twist. The ceiling seems to open into a tranquil landscape, but something feels off.
