Project: Children's Opera Illustrations - Staatstheater Nürnberg

An illustration project creating promotional flyers for two children's opera productions at Staatstheater Nürnberg: "Windige Werke: Vier Jahreszeiten Vivaldi" and "Armide oder Schwein gehabt." The assignment focused on making classical opera accessible and appealing to young audiences through vibrant illustration work.

Design Approach:

The illustrations embrace bright, playful colors to make classical opera approachable for children while honoring the musical sophistication of Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Armide. For "Windige Werke," the design approach considered the classical music's seasonal themes, while "Armide" required a balance between the opera's grand themes and its child-friendly adaptation. Both flyer designs aim to spark children's curiosity about classical opera through engaging visuals.
