Cardboard-Speaker

This Projects goal was not only to use the Material Cardboard to enhance the Quality of a small speaker, but also mainly to learn the skill of creating Prototypes at a fast rate.

Cardboard is a very simple and cost efficient way to create volume fast, and, to show and test your Ideas of a Product. Therefore learning this skill wasnt only a lot of fun but also very usefull in later Projects!

Figuring out how to build volume around the small speaker to create the best possible sound was a fun, experimental challange. My speaker makes use of two elements. Behind the speaker sits the smaller "Bass Box", that gives the sound a depth by collecting and bundling it up and then sending it out the front. The big opening is secondary and functions only as a more controlled way to spread the soundwaves into the room.

this Project was done at the TH-Deggendorf while studying "Technical Design"
