Hello!

My name is Ozan Biraker and I'm an Illustrator from Nürnberg,
Germany. My goal is to entertain you here and show you a piece
of what I call my passion, which would be drawing sweet
pictures to stick on a fridge! You might have lost yourself on
my portfolio website, so feel free to look around.

This site also functions as a blog and I'm going to post here
about the profane life of a small Illustrator in this great hub
of creativity, that calls itself the Designworld.

I wanted to share an opinion about art and skills in general.
I have the feeling people often have many misconception of how to
aproach learning something new, especially the craft of drawing
and painting. Many novices think it is enough to just keep
drawing but keep getting frustrated, when the progres is minimal.

But that is not how training works. The analogy is simple, in order
to grow a muscle, one gotta push it to its limit. Then comes rest
and a good and balanced nutrition, to capitalize on the training.
The same goes with art, to build up dexterity and skill, one gotta
work on weaknesses and push it to the limit. Rest by doing
something relaxing and keeping your brain fed with a ton of
other art and inspiration. As with simple musclue exercises, drawing
exercises aren't necesarily supposed to be fun, but relly effective.
Just don't forget the fun part along the way and go back into that
cozy comfort zone once in a while!
