ABOUT MY ART
When you already checked out my website you might have seen that I'm an art enthusiast. I enjoy to draw and paint but I also like to look at art. Either little skribbles or famous paintings in a museum... it doesn't matter; they bring me joy anyways. I personally like to create creatures, characters or dark fantasy stuff in general. Mostly I draw traditionally with very reduced colors. Sometimes I also like to draw digitally on my IPad.
INFLUENCES
My influences for my drawings are going back to my childhood. Since I can think, I loved video-games and their worlds behind them. Also, trading-card games and their creatures or character designs like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Magic: The Gathering hooked me really hard back in those days. And don’t forget Star Wars - these movies had a huge impact on me too. In the last few years, my influences became "darker". This may be through the stories of Lovecraft and the FromSoftware-games like Dark Souls. That’s when my interest in concept art began because I couldn’t believe someone created such menacing, thrilling, and good-looking creatures in a dark fantasy setting. So my interest kinda turned from playing video games to the art of video games. Well, I still enjoy playing them from time to time, but collecting artbooks became a more current hobby of mine.
