How my Website Works!
I use a static site generator named zola for building this website. It allows me to avoid inserting redundant html code such as headers and footers on every site without using php or javascript. It can also compress and resize images for me.
Future Ideas for this Website
This Website is anything but finished and will see regular improvements. In the following I will explain some of the ideas I have to further improve this site.
automatic ftp deployments using ci/cd
Once my forgejo instance is up and running, I will write an atomatic deployment action that uploads my website on every push to the git main branch onto my server.
Zettelkasten
Modern social media sites use complex algorythms to present users with information that is supposed to be "revlevant" at the expense of orweilian amounts of tracking to "personalize" recomendations.
While researching notetaking apps I stumbled across an organization method called Zettelkasten. Similar to the human brain you interlink information with tags.
Using this method for recomendations would allow users to find related information quickly and perhaps understand it better too.
Easy blog upload ui
3 years ago I created a custom Linux desktop using the eww widgets toolkit. Since it now has support for drag and drop, it might be nice to have Blog upload Panel easily acessible in a similar location.
